In test tube A:-crushed potatoes+saliva, in test tube B:- crushed potatoes. few drop of dilute iodine solution is added to both the test tubes,blue colour appears in the test tube B.

Answer: Test tube A has no changes.

Explanation: This is because saliva contains salivary amylase that digests starch. and potato is a source of starch, so if u mix potato that is starch and saliva that contains amylase is breaks down the potato because its and starch and that's what amylase does in the mouth. it will not have any colour changes in test tube A when iodine is present.
