yes y because in the absence of parasites the hosts increase in number in turn will lead to the food and habitat deficiency which leads to competition and finally this will lead to death

When there would be no micro-organisms on the earth, the earth would become a heap of dead plants and animals. This is because micro-organisms decompose dead bodies of plants and animals. They replenish nutrients which are present in the ground. This helps plants' to get required nutrients. This in turn, gives higher yield. People get food from the edible materials produced by the plants
