CONCEPT USED :

AP : a1 , a2 , a3 , a4 ....... an

Common Difference (d) = a2 - a1

nth Term (an) = a + (n - 1)d

Sum of nth Term (Sn) = n/2 + (a + an)

Sum of nth Term (Sn) = n/2 + [ 2a + (n - 1)d ]

GIVEN :

Arithmetic Progression (AP) = 2 , -2 , -6 , -10

TO FIND :

Common Difference (d)

SOLUTION :

Arithmetic Progression (AP) = 2 , -2 , -6 , -10

Common Difference (d) = a2 - a1

Common Difference (d) = -2 - 2

Common Difference (d) = -4
