In the above figure,A is the centre of the circle,l(AM)=30cm,l(AP)=34 cm,seg AM is perpendicular to chord PQ then find l(PQ)

Answer:

PM = √(34+30)(34-30)=√64×4=8×2=16cm now,PQ=16×2=32

in the formation of HCL, to calculate enthalpy of formation, we have to do: Enthalpy of reactants - enthalpy of products But in some cases, we calculate by: Enthalpy of products - enthalpy of reactants. Sometimes we do the 1st and sometimes the 2nd one, can someone explain? Help would be appreciated. Thanks!
