let ∠ACD be 2x and ∠DCB be x.

∵ ACB is a straight line

∴ ∠ACD+∠DCB = 180°

⇒ 2x + x = 180°

⇒ 3x = 180°

⇒ x = 180°/3

⇒ x = 60°
