in the above figure if AOB is a line OP Bisects angle BOC and OQ bisects angle AOC.show that angle POQ is a right angle​

Answer:

Let angle BOP be x and angle AOQ be y.

Then,

angle BOP=angle POC=x

angle AOQ=angle QOC=y

So,

x+x+y+y=180° [Straight Angle]

2x+2y=180°

2(x+y)=180°

x+y=90°

Therefore,

x+y=angle QOC+angle POC=angle POQ=90° [Proved]
