In the above statement it is said that chloroplasts are also called kitchen of the cell I M NOT AGREE WITH THAT WORDS ' ' KITCHEN OF THE CELL ' ' IT IS A WRONG ANALOGY BECUZ ' IN KITCHEN WE COOK FOOD TO MAKE IT SUITABLE FOR EATING AND DO NOT PRODUCE IT WHERE AS THE CHLOROPLASTS PRODUCE THE FOOD....

Just take those vegetables, oil, onion, garlic and all those ingredients as raw materials for a dish to mouth. Say for example it is Palau.
No doubt by taking some of the vegetables as raw can give you energy. But you can not take it as much what the body want. So for palatibility we make it with adding different ingredients.
Now come to chloroplast and its function. You know it has a stroma part which contain various of chemical compounds each of which can be comparable to the vegetables. Its the duty of the chloroplast (as a kitchen house) to combine those chemical compound to form a final product (glucose/starch) which can be comparable to palau. From glucose or starch a cell can draw energy in more efficient way. Because it the glucose which is in perfect serving stage for the cell to draw out energy from it.
