Heya !!

We all know that microorganisms act as natural-sweepers which clean the environment !
This is because they, being decomposers , help in absorbing the nutrients from the dead organic matter and recycling them too. Thus the absence of microorganisms would lead to a heap of dead plants and animals since the dead organic matter wouldn't be able to decompose and neither would the nutrients get replenished . This would create an imbalance in the ecosystem too!

Hope that helps !

when when a plant or animal dies it leaves behind nutrients and energy in the organic materials that form its body structure. microorganisms (decomposers) eventually converters all such organic matter into carbon dioxide and nutrients . This nutrients becomes a part of the soil. In this way the microorganisms clear the environment.
