hi frnd

→in the absence of chlorophyll pigment that is
chloroplast photosynthesis cannot be occurred in leaves

→because chloroplast traps the light which come frm sun light

→when sun light is absent photosynthesis cannot be done

→this is the reason when plants donot have chloroplast they are called as insectivorous plants which cannot prepare their own food
and depend on others

I hope this will help u :)

In the organelle known as chloroplast which is present in the green pigment chlorophyll of the leaf.

This help to turn light energy to food for the plant

In the absence of chlorophyll photosynthesis would not occur.
