Given that ∠A = 55° and ∠B = 70°
AB║CD
cut by the transversal AD,
∠A + ∠D = 180° (co-interior angles are supplementary)
⇒ ∠D = 180°-55°
∴∠D = 125°

Similarly,
When AB║CD is cut by the transversal BC,
∠B +∠C = 180° (co-interior angles are supplementary)
⇒ ∠C = 180°-70°
∴ ∠C = 110°
