∵ CD is perpendicular to DA and BE is perpendicular to DA

∴ ∠CDA = ∠BEA = 90°

If CD and BE are  two lines then ∠CDA and ∠BEA form corresponding angles

∵ The corresponding angles are equal

∴ CD ║ BE

When two lines are parallel and a transversal line falls on it then the alternate angles are equal

if DB is a transversal line then ∠1 and ∠3 will be the alternate angles and they will be equal

Therefore

∠1 = ∠3                   (Proved)
