Given :-

  • In figure , MN is parallel to QR.
  • PQ = PR
  • ∠LMN = 65°.

To find :-

  • The measure of ∠QPR ?

Solution :-

given that, MN || QR,

So,

→ ∠LPN = ∠PQR { corresponding angles .}

→ ∠PQR = 65°

Now, in ∆PQR ,

→ PQ = PR { given. }

So,

→ ∠PQR = ∠PRQ { Angle opposite to equal sides are equal. }

→ ∠PQR = ∠PRQ = 65°

Now, by angle sum Property ,

→ ∠PQR + ∠PRQ + ∠QPR = 180°

→ 65° + 65° + ∠QPR = 180°

→ 130° + ∠QPR = 180°

→ ∠QPR = 180° - 130°

→ ∠QPR = 50° (Ans.)

Hence, The measure of ∠QPR is 50° .
