a) the acceleration of the system and
b) tensions in the strings

you can look up the fig easily on the internet i dont know how to attach it here

Force due to gravity acts vertically downwards. in this question the blocks are set on some angles. That means you have to consider that component of force that is perpendicular to ground. sin theta is a perpendicular component. so you will take mgsin 60 + mg sin60 - mg sin 30. calculate this, you will get the force.

then force = mass × acceleration. Total mass of the system is 6 kg . put all together you will get the acceleration.
