Area of triangle=1/2×base×Height

Area of triangle ACD:-

$\frac{1}{2} \times 36 \times 12$

=216sq cm

Area of triangle ABC

$\frac{1}{2} \times 36 \times 8$

=144 sq cm

Area of quad. ABCD

Area of triangle ADC+Area of triangle ABC.

(216+144)sq cm
