In the adjacent quadrilateral ABCD, AC is the diagonal of length 36 cm , BE and DF perpendicular from B and D to AC are 8cm and 12cm respectively. find the area of the quadrilateral

Area of triangle=1/2×base×Height

Area of triangle ACD:-

 \frac{1}{2}  \times 36 \times 12

=216sq cm

Area of triangle ABC

 \frac{1}{2}  \times 36 \times 8

=144 sq cm

Area of quad. ABCD

Area of triangle ADC+Area of triangle ABC.

(216+144)sq cm

360 sq cm(Answerr)
