In the adjoin figure the measures of various angles are indicated. The value of x and y are
respectively.

Y + CBX = 180° ( L.P.)

Y + 80° = 180°

Y = 100°

Now in traingle ABC :-

Using angle sum property of triangle ,

CAB + ABC+ BCA = 180°

30° + 100° + BCA = 180°

130° + BCA = 180°

BCA = 180°- 130°

BCA = 50°

Now , X + BCA = 180° ( L.P.)

X+ 50° = 180°

X = 180° -50°

X = 130° .
