here we need to find x y and z

let O be the mid point of the diagonals  

⇒ in a rhombus the diagonals bisects other at right angle triangle

⇒ and these two diagonals form four right-angled triangles which are congruent to each other

⇒ EO is equals to OI  

⇒ EO = OI = 5

⇒ EO = x = 5

⇒ RO is equals to OC

⇒ RO = OC = 12  

⇒ RO = y = 12  

take triangle ROI  is a right angled triangle

we know that in right angle triangle  hypotenuse ² = side² + side²

⇒ in triangle ROI  ⇒ RI² = IO² + OR²

                             ⇒ z²  = 5² + 12²  

                             ⇒ z²  = 25 + 144

                             ⇒ z²  = 169  = 13²

 ⇒  z = 13
