In the adjoining combination of resistors, if 2A current flows through the resistor of 6Ω, calculate the current flowing through the other resistors.

From the above statement, in mathematical terms, we get, V=I×R,

where, R is the proportionality constant, popularly known as resistance of the conductor, it is measured in Ω (ohm) in S.I. system.

So, according to the question, the resistor is of R=6Ω and the current flowing through it is I=2A, therefore, the potential difference across the resistor is V=2A×6Ω=12V.
