In the adjoining diagram, AB = DC and ∠ABC = ∠DCB. Prove that :
i) ∠BAC = ∠CDB
ii) AE = DE​

Answer:

in triangle ABC and triangle DCB

AB=DC  [GIVEN]

angle ABC=angle DCB [GIVEN]

BC=BC  [common side]

thus traingle ABC is congruent to triangle DCB by SAS.

thus if the triangle are congruent there corresponding parts are equal.

angle BAC=angle CDB [ by CACT].
