In the adjoining figure, AB = AC and angle 1 = angle 2 in ΔABC. Give reasons to show that:
a.) ΔABD ≈ ΔACD
b.) Angle ABD = Angle ACD
c.) BD = CD
d.) Angle DBC = Angle DCB
e.) Δ DBC is an isosceles triangle.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a- angle1=angle2. (given)

ab=ac. (given)

ad=ad (common)

therefore,by SAS

∆ABD=~∆ACD

b. angle ABD= angle ACD (by cpct)

c. also by cpct

d. as ∆ABC is an isoscele triangle therefore angle opposite to equal side are equal

now, we know that angle ABD=ACD ( by cpct)

therefore,angle ABC-ABD=ABC-ACD

therefore,angle DBC=DCB

e. as we proved DBC=DCB

∆DBC is an isoscele triangle

here is your answer it took me so long so please mark me brainliest
