in the adjoining figure, ABC is a right
angled triangle at A. Find the area of the shaded
region if AB = 6 cm, BC = 10 cm and I is the centre
of incircle of ABC.​

Answer: 2.26cm^2approx.

AB is the height

BC is the base

Area of triangle=1/2×Height×Base

=1/2×6×10

=3×10

=30cm^2

Radius of circle= Height/2

=6/2

=3

Area of circle=πr^2

=3.14×3^2

=3.14×9

=28.26cm^2 approx.

Area of shaded region= 30 - 28.26

=2.26cm^2approx.
