In the adjoining figure ABC is an isosceles triangle with AB = 7.5 m AC = 7.5cm and BC = 9 CM . If the hight AD from A to BC is 6 find i) area of ABC ii) The hight CE from C to AB. ​

Answer:

  1. area=1/2(AD)(BC)=1/2(6)(9)=27m²
  2. area=1/2(AD)(BC)=1/2(CE)(AB)

=>(6)(9)=(CE)(7.5)

=>(6)(6)=(CE)(5)

=>CE=36/5=7.2m
