We get two triangles-

Now in triangle ABC & ADC-

AD=AB (given)

DC=BC(given)

AC is common side.

so,

ABC is congruent to ADC.

therefore,

<DAC=<BAC by C.P.C.T.C.

therefore,

AD bisects <A.
