In the adjoining figure, ABCD is a quadrilateral with diagonal AC and DB. If
AB = DC and ∆BCD = ∆CBA, show that
(a) ∆BCD ≈ ∆ABC congurent
(b) BCD≈BAD
(C) BCA = CBD

Answer:

(a) to prove ΔBCD≈ΔABC,

    ∠BCD = ∠CBA (GIVEN)

   CB = CB (COMMON )

    AB = DC (GIVEN)

=> ΔBCD ≈ ΔABC ( SAS congruence rule )
