ans let AE be 10 cm DC 18 cm AD 12cm FC 7cm FB 5cm

area of triangle ADE 60cm

area of triangle EFB 20cm

area of triangle DCF 63cm

total area of shaded region= total area of the rectangle-the sum of these triangles i.e. 216-143

=73.
