area of shaded region= Area of square- area of 4 Quadrant

1) Area of square= a×a sq-cm

side= 28 cm

Area = 28×28 sq-cm

=784 sq-cm

2) Area of 4 Quadrant= area of 1 complete circle

here radius = 14 cm

Area of circle= 3.14×196 sq-cm

=615.44 sq-cm

Area under blue colour= 615.44 sq-cm

Area of white colour part= 784-615.44

=168.56 sq-cm
