In the adjoining figure all measurements are in centimetres. If AD is perpendicular to BC find the length of AB?

Answer:

AB = 17 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

DC = √(625 - 225)

DC = 20 cm

∴BD = 28 - 20 = 8 cm

AB = √(225 + 64)

AB = 17 cm
