in the adjoining figure, angle bcd = angle adc and angle bca = angle bdc show that (i) triangle acd is congruent to triangle bdc (ii)line bc = ad (iii) angle a = angle b

Answer:

triangle acd is congruent to triangle bdc by AAS( ANGLE ANGLE SIDE) .

angle adc= angle bcd....1

angle acd = angle bcd....2

side cd is common to both triangles

Hence ,congruent by AAS.

Since triangle acd is congruent to triangle bcd

therefore sides are equal

hence, bc= ad.

similarly, angle a= angle b

additional info.

when 2 triangles are congruent all throes sides aa well as angles are equal to each other.
