➲ °•Concept:-

Let's

There was a Rectangular field a person wants to build a House Type of a Square , There was a Rectangle and a square. Length of rectangle is 26 Cm and Breadth of rectangle is 16 Cm .

The sides of the square is 9cm . First find the area of rectangle by formula ( Length×Breadth)

Then fInd the area of square by Formula (side×side). The subtract the area of square from area of rectangle.

°Given :-

Length of rectangle = 26 cm

Breadths of rectangle = 16 cm

Side of square = 9 cm

To Find :-

  • The area of the shaded region

Solution :-

Area of the Rectangle ,

➛ \sf \large \: area =( length \times breadth) \\ \\ ➛ \sf \large \: area = 26 \times 16 \\ \\ \sf \large➛area = 416cm

Area of the Square ,

 \sf \large \: ➛area = (side  \times side) \\  \\   \sf \large \: ➛area = (9 \times 9) \\  \\  \sf \large \: ➛area = 81cm {}^{2}

The Area of The Shaded Region =

➛ \sf \large \: 416 - 81 \\ \\ \sf \large \: ➛335cm

Hence The area of the shaded region is 335 CM.

More Formulaes of Area

To Know :-

➠Area of the Square = a²

➠Area of the rectangle = length × Breadth

➠Area of rhombus = 1/2 ×d¹×d²

➠Area of parallelogram = Breadth × height

➠Area of Trapezium = 1/2 × { Sum of the parallel side's )×(height)

➠Area of Circle = πr² (r=redius)

➠Area of semi Circle = 1/2 πr² (r=radius)
