Area of ΔABC  =  140 sq units

Step-by-step explanation:

PQCB is a square

Area of Square PQCB = 160

=> Side of Square =  √160 = 4√10

=> PQ = QC = CB = PB = 4√10

AP : PB = 3 : 4

=>AP : 4√10 =  3: 4

=> AP/4√10 = 3/4

=> AP = 3√10

AB = AP + BP = 3√10 + 4√10 = 7√10

Area of ΔABC  = (1/2) AB * CP    as CP ⊥ AB

= (1/2) * 7√10 * 4√10

= 140

Area of ΔABC  =  140 sq units
