Hey dear friend
from the the figure
triangle ABD & BCD it is clear that
AB = CD =5cm (given)
AB =AB. (common side)
and
angle ABD = angle CDB (alternate angle)
so ABD congurents BCD (SAS rule)
so AD=BC (CPCT)
Hence AB =CD
AD = BC
opposite side are equal and parallel so it is a parallelogram..
