Radius = 3.5 cm
Perimeter of whole circle = 3.5 × π × 2
3.5 × 22/7 × 2
0.5 × 44
22 cm
perimeter of a quarter = 22/4 5.5 cm

perimeter of quadrant of a circle is
1/4*2πr*2r
p=1/4*2*22/7*2*3.5
p=1/4*2*22*2*5/10
p=1/4*2*22
p=11cm

shristy6: i hope it will help
Raunakc: the 2r in formula are not needed
shristy6: this formula was given in my book
shristy6: nd today was my exam
Raunakc: it would only work if it was a piece of a circle , but this is a full circle which has no lines going to the middle
shristy6: this is the formula for quarter circle
shristy6: that is one fourth
Raunakc: no its the formula for a piece of circle cut out
Raunakc: because then only will the 2r lines which u mentioned in ur formula have meaning
