Angle x is equal to 122°

Step-by-step explanation:

=> angle A = 64°

=> (Triangle ABC is an isosceles triangle as AB is equal to AC , therefore Angle B is equal to Angle C ).

=> Angle ( A+ B + C ) = 180° { sum of all interior angles

is equal to 180° }

=> A + 2C = 180°

=> 64° + 2C = 180°

=> 2C = 180°- 64°

=> 2C = 116°

=> C = 116/2

=> C = 58°

Therefore,

Angle B = Angle C = 58°

Now, as we know that Exterior angle is equal to sum of two opposite interior angles.

Therefore,

Angle x = Angle A + Angle C

= 64 + 58

= 122°

Angle x is equal to 122°

Also , another method is

==>>

=> Angle x + Angle B = 180° ( linear pair)

=> Angle x + 58° = 180°

=> Angle x = 180 - 58

=> Angle x = 122°
