As , the following pair of angles forms a linear pair ,
Therefore,. a + b = 180° ----------------(ii)
Equating (i) and (ii) ;
a + b = 180°
a - b =. 80°

=>. a = 260/2
=>. a= 130 °
Therefore , substituting the value of a in Equation ( ii)
130° - b = 80°
=> b = 130° - 80°
=> b = 50°
