TO FIND :

The 12th term,t12 = ?

SOLUTION :

The general term,tn

tn = a + (n - 1)d

where n is the nth term.

t12 = 4 + ( 12 -1) (-3)

= 4 + ( 11) (-3)

= 4 - 33

t12 = -29

ANSWER : t12 = -29
