System of four blocks has been provided.

Net force on the system = \bf{F}

To Find :

We have to find ratio of T¹ : T² : T³.

SoluTion :

Common acc. of system :

➝ F = M × a

➝ F = (10+20+30+40) × a

a = F/100 m/s²

Tension Force T¹ :

➝ T¹ = 40 × a

➝ T¹ = 40 × F/100

T¹ = 4F/10 N

Tension Force T² :

➝ T² = (40+30) × a

➝ T² = 70 × F/100

T² = 7F/10 N

Tension Force T³ :

➝ T³ = (40+30+20) × a

➝ T³ = 90 × F/100

T³ = 9F/10 N

Ratio of T¹, T² and T³ :

⇒ T¹ : T² : T³ = 4F/10 : 7F/10 : 9F/10

T¹ : T² : T³ = 4 : 7 : 9
