Hi mate !!!

According to octate rule :-

an element which have 8 electrons in its balance till then it is in most stable form .

=================================

an atom have 6 electron so it requires 2 electron to full fill it's octate .

so the charge come on atom X is -2 because atom need to complete it's octate .

hope it help you !!!!

thanks !!
