in the below figure , ABCD is a parallelogram , AB = 10 cm , BM =8 cm and DL = 6cm , then find AD .

Area of parallelogram =DL*AB

6*10=60cm²

Now we take base=AD and height = BM

Area of parallelogram =AD*BM

60=AD*8

AD=60/8

AD=7.5cm

area of parallelogram abcd =b×h
DL × AB = DA × BM
6×10 = AD × 8
AD = 6×10/8
AD = 7.5 cm
