IN THE center of the garden a beautiful structure is placed to aattact the people . the shape of the structure is given below which has cuboid standing on the cylindrical beams.the dimension of cuboid are 1m,2m,and 0.5m. the radius of the cylinder is 0.35m and height of cylinder is 1m.[use =22/7}. (a) as the structure is made from concrete, how much volume of concrete is requied for cuboidal shape? (b) find the volume of the two cylinders .(c) if the top for cuboid is need to be painted blue ,how much area need to be painted .(d) if a cioth is needed to cover the cylindrical part ,how much coith is needed.

Answer :-

→ volume of concrete requied for cuboidal shape = L * B * H = 1 * 2 * 0.5 = 1 m³ .

and,

→ Volume of 2 cylinders = 2[πr²h] = 2 * (22/7) * (0.35)² * 1 = (44/7) * 0.35 * 0.35 = 44 * 0.35 * 0.05 = 0.77 .

now,

→ Blue painted area of cuboid = L * B = 1 * 2 = 2 m² .

now,

→ Cloth required to cover cylindrical part = 2πrh = 2 * (22/7) * 0.35 * 1 = 44 * 0.05 = 2.2 .
