Now he longed for his village where he was a ring leader and where he had enjoyed life. He also remembered his mother. One day he fell sick and he feared that in such condition, he would be nuisance to is aunt.
When Phatik told his aunt that he had lost his book, there was an expression of great contempt on her face. She called him a country lout. She told him that she could not buy new books for him again and again.
