Maddie was thinking sadly about Wanda and her hundred dresses. This was the hardest thinking that she had ever done. Then, she reached an important conclusion. She decided that she would never stand by and say nothing again.

After listening to the note from Wanda's father, Maddie had a very sick feeling in the bottom of her stomach. She could not concentrate when she tried to prepare her lessons. She had not enjoyed listening to Peggy ask Wanda how many dresses she had in her closet.

I the chapter The Hundred Dressed written by (author 's name) , maddie was the only one who felt bad for wanda and when she realised that she and peggy is bullying wanda she was very sad and decided to stop peggy from teasing wanda but she couldn't because she know that peggy is her best friend and she also realised that if she stop peggy from teasing wanda maybe peggy would start teasing her because she also belongs to was poor class family but her family was not that poor as wanda is . So, everything peggy tease wanda she felt bad for her . Therefore, Maddie's silent suffering less social but more emotional .
