1. Effective resistance

2. Current read by ammeter

3. Potential difference across points P and Q .

1)Reff= 9/2 + 3/2= 6 ohm

2) V= iReff

I= V/Reff => I= 6/6

I= 1 A.

3) potential difference across 1.5 ohm is

V=1.5*1= 1.5 volt

Therefore p.d. between P and Q is 6-1.5 i.e. 4.5 volt
