Given that,

Emf = 1 V

Each resistance = 12Ω

According to figure,

R₁ and R₂ in series

We need to calculate the equivalent resistance

Using formula of series

R=R_{1}+R_{2}

Put the value into the formula

R=12+12

R=24\ \Omega

R and R₃ is connected in parallel

We need to calculate the equivalent resistance

Using formula of parallel

\dfrac{1}{R'}=\dfrac{1}{R}+\dfrac{1}{R_{3}}

Put the value into the formula

\dfrac{1}{R'}=\dfrac{1}{24}+\dfrac{1}{12}

R'=8\ \Omega

We need to calculate the current

Using ohm's law

V=IR

I=\dfrac{V}{R}

Where, V = voltage

I = current

R = resistance

Put the value into the formula

I=\dfrac{1}{8}

I=0.125\ A

We need to calculate the power produced in the circuit

Using formula of power

P=I^2R

Put the value into the formula

P=(0.125)^2\times8

P=0.125\ watt

Hence, The current is 0.125 A.

The power produced in the circuit is 0.125 watt.
