Answer:

total resistence=52 Ohm

and total current in the circuit=0.23A

Explanation:

As we know that

Current(I)=Potential Difference(V)/Total. resistence(R)

=12/52

=3/13

=.0.23A

Answer:

The total resistance and current in the given circuit are equal to 52ohm and 0.23A.

Explanation:

Given:

R_{1}=7ohm

R_{2}=10ohm

R_{3}=30ohm

R_{4}=5ohm

V = 12V

Here,

The current in the given circuit is denoted by I.

The potential of the battery in the given circuit is denoted by V.

The total resistance of all resistance in the given circuit is denoted by R_{t}.

Now,

For Part one,

The formula used is,

R_{t}=R_{1}+R_{2}+R_{3}+R_{4}\\R_{t} = 7+10+30+5\\R_{t}=52ohm

Then,

For part two,

By the equation,

I=\frac{V}{R_{t}} \\I=\frac{12}{52} \\I=0.23A

So, the total resistance and current in the given circuit are equal to 52ohm and 0.23A.
