Answer:

V=12V

R1, R2 and R3 are connected in parallel.

(a) Current through R1 = V/R1 = 12/5 = 2.4 A

Current through R2 = V/R2 = 12/10 = 1.2 A

Current through R3 = V/R2 = 12/30 = 0.4 A

(b) Total current in the circuit = 2.4 + 1.2 + 0.4 = 4 A

(c) Total resistance in the circuit=R

1/R = 1/R1+ 1/R2 + 1/R

1/R = 1/5 + 1/10 + 1/30

1/R = 10/30

R = 3 ohm

ok. using what you have resistance in parallel is found by

1/R=1/10ohms+1/20+1/30

when to use the calculator you get 11/60

1/R=11/60

but yo u want R

so R is 60/11 which is5.4545ohms as the resistance

2current is I as in physics

V=IR

so the V is 12 R is 5.45 rounding off you get 6Ohms

so

12 which is V= I which is current you are looking for×R which is 6

12=I×6

so divide by 6 on both sides and answer is

I=2amperes is the total current in ckt

current through each resistor there you use the mehod where you use each resistor to find the current through each of the resistor how????

by saying

V=IR this R is the resistor so

12=I (which is current)×20 which is one of the resistors

so12=I×20

dividing by 20 on no sides u get 0.6Amperes

forsecond resistor

12=I×10

divide by 10

I= 1.2Amperes

for last resistor

12=I×30

divide by 30

I = 0.4Amperes

that's is how it's done
