the resistance R2 and Zener diodes are connected in parallel so the voltage across them is equal, so the potential difference across R2 is also 10 Volts.

Potential difference acrossR2=10V.

Let, Potential difference acrossR1 be V1.

Now apply a simple K.V.L in first loop of the circuit we have,

⇒V1=15−10=5volts

⇒V1=15−10=5 Volts

the current through 500ohm resistor = voltage/resistance

= 5V/500ohm

= 0.01A

the current through 1500ohm resistor = 10/1500

= 0.0067A

so the current through Zener diode is the difference in current through these resistor. so the current is 0.01- 0.0067 = 0.0033 A

converting A into mA---

current = 3.33mA

I hope it will help you ❤
