Name the figure as shown in the attachment.
Now, the Current from the positive terminal (named as O), moves towards the point marked as G and then towards the point marked as C. If we see the path of current:-
- The current divides its path at G, then at C. Thus, they are in parallel combination.
- Now, the current travels without dividing from:

Thus, they are in a series combination.
- The effective resistance:-
▪ G E F: 5 + 5 = 10 Ohm
