Explanation:

10 ohm and 15 ohm are in series and also 20 ohm and 5 ohm are in series.

let 10 ohm be R1 , 15 ohm be R2 , 20 ohm be R3 and 5 ohm be R4

therefore,

T1= R1 + R2 = 10 ohm + 15 ohm = 25 ohm

T2 = R3 + R4 = 20 ohm + 5 ohm = 25 ohm

now,

T1 and T2 are in parallel.

1/T1 + 1/T2 = 1/25 + 1/25 =2/25 = 12.5 ohm

therefore,

current (I) = V/R = 45V/12.5 ohm

= 18/5

= 3.6 A
