Explanation:

Two, 2Ω resistor are joined in parallel.

So, 1/ Req = 1 / 2 + 1/2

or, 1 / Req = 2 / 2

or, 1 / Req = 1

or, Req = 1 Ω

Now, Req and Two 2Ω resistors are in series.

so, Reffective = (2 + 2 + 1)Ω = 5Ω

Therefore, Equivalent resistance between AB is 5 Ω
