Equivalent resistance

1 +   1/ ( 1/(4 + 2)  + 1/(2 + 4) )   +  1

= 1  +  6/2  + 1

= 5

Current flowing = 10/5  = 2 A

Current flowing through 4Ω & 2Ω  = 1A

E - Va  = 2 * 1  + 1 * 4

=> E - Va = 6   - eq 1

E - Vb = 2 *1  +  1 *2

=> E - Vb = 4    - eq 2

Eq2 - eq 1

=> Va - Vb = 4 - 6

=> Va - Vb = - 2

Va - Vb = - 2
