In the class, teacher described a method to finding the cube roots of numbers
without factorization. She explained it nicely, so Santhosh could find out the cube
roots of different numbers easily.
(i) Identify the method which Santhosh learned.
(ii) He guessed the cube roots of 5832, 19683 and 39304 as 18, 27 and 34 respectively.
Check whether Santhosh is correct or not without using factorization method.
(iii) Find out the cube root of 474552 without factorization.
(iv) Give a 4-digit largest number that is perfect cube.

Hi i hope this helps.
Step-by-step explanation:
Santosh is probably using the vedic maths method.
To do this method you have to do the following.
1) Divide the number into groups of 3 (starting from tens digit) then check the last digit of the first grp (ones, tens and hundreds). Check the last digit of the number and check picture 1. Put the coressponding number as the units place of your square root.
2)then for the other grps check between ehich square the number comes (for eg if 2nd grp is 24 then it comes between 2 cube and 3 cube) choose the lower digit (2 cube referring the above example). You found your cube root this way.
